VitraNotch Terms of Use

Agreement

These Terms of Use apply when you download or use VitraNotch, a macOS application developed by Nguyen Minh Dung. By using VitraNotch, you agree to these terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with Apple's Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls to the extent required.

Using VitraNotch

VitraNotch provides Dynamic Notch features including media controls, Camera, Clipboard History, File Shelf and Browser Downloads. You may use the application only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects the rights, privacy and content of other people.

You are responsible for the content you copy, capture, store, play or share through the application and for obtaining any permissions required for that content.

Free and Pro

VitraNotch includes Free functionality and an optional VitraNotch Pro lifetime upgrade. Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. The displayed price and applicable taxes can vary by App Store country or region.

The features included in Free and Pro may evolve as VitraNotch is updated. A purchased Pro entitlement will continue to unlock the Pro feature set made available for the compatible version of the application.

Purchases, restoration and refunds

Purchases and eligible purchase restoration are handled through Apple's StoreKit and Mac App Store infrastructure. You can use Restore Purchase in VitraNotch with the Apple Account that completed the purchase.

Billing, refunds and purchase disputes are administered by Apple and are subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms and policies.

Your files and content

When using File Shelf, VitraNotch creates copies of files you intentionally add. You retain ownership of your content and remain responsible for your original files, their legality and maintaining backups of important data.

Clipboard History, Browser Downloads history, Camera and File Shelf are convenience features. They should not be treated as the sole archival copy of important information. Deleting the application, clearing local data or reaching a configured retention limit can remove locally stored content.

Permissions

Some features require macOS permissions. You can decline or later change those permissions in System Settings, although the related VitraNotch feature may then be unavailable.

Third-party applications and services

Some VitraNotch functionality interacts with software or services provided by others, including Apple Music, Spotify, Safari, YouTube and Apple's App Store infrastructure. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Changes, outages or restrictions imposed by a third party can affect the availability or behavior of related integrations.

VitraNotch is not sponsored by or affiliated with Spotify or YouTube. Apple, Apple Music, Mac, macOS, Safari and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Availability and updates

VitraNotch can change over time as macOS, supported applications and the product itself evolve. Features can be adjusted where necessary to maintain compatibility, reliability, privacy, security or product quality. The application is provided without a guarantee that every integration will remain continuously available.

Warranty and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VitraNotch is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or interruption caused by third-party services, system changes or use of VitraNotch as the sole backup for important content.

Termination

You may stop using VitraNotch at any time. Your right to use the application can end if you materially violate these terms or Apple's applicable license terms. Pro purchases remain subject to Apple's purchase records and restoration rules.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when VitraNotch's features, distribution model or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
